“My experience as an intern at Wenning Strength was nothing short of transformative. Under the guidance of Matt Wenning, a highly respected, world class athlete and coach in the strength, sports performance, and tactical fields.
I was exposed to an unparalleled level of education, skill development and work ethic during my time with Matt. His expertise is evident in every aspect of his coaching, from his deep understanding of biomechanics to his tried and tested training methodologies, application and world class championship mindset.
The internship was intensely hands-on, providing an abundance of opportunities to engage in practical hands-on coaching and mentorship from Matt. You will not be a passive observer under his guidance; He will have you actively participating in coaching sessions, assessments, training and knowledge transfer sessions. You will receive personalized feedback and learn to apply high-level knowledge and skill in real-world scenarios. This approach ensured that theoretical concepts were immediately reinforced through practice, solidifying both understanding and skills development.
Days at Wenning Strength are long and demanding, filled with coaching, training, and studying. The rigorous schedule is a true test of the endurance and commitment needed to find success in an ever-changing industry. However, the depth of knowledge and practical experience gained make every hour worthwhile. Matt’s expectations are high, and he pushes you to perform at your best. For those willing to embrace the challenge, the rewards far outweigh the sacrifice.”
